Refund and Cancellation Policy

Last updated: 16 October 2026

You can cancel within 14 days of your course confirmation email if you have not logged in to the learning platform (LMS) or started a course.

Once you first log in to the LMS or start a course, whichever happens first, the course becomes active and we do not issue a change-of-mind refund, provided you expressly requested early access and acknowledged the loss of your cancellation right before access began.

Your rights if a course is faulty, not as described or otherwise does not meet your statutory rights are unaffected.

Individual consumer purchases

If you buy as an individual consumer, you have 14 days after the course confirmation email to tell us that you wish to cancel. This applies while you have not logged in to the LMS or started a course.

Early access and active courses

At checkout we ask you to expressly request access before the 14-day cancellation period ends and separately acknowledge that your change-of-mind cancellation right ends when you first log in to the LMS or start a course.

Simply receiving login details does not, by itself, remove that right. Where the required consent and acknowledgement have not been obtained, your statutory cancellation rights remain. Logging in to the website to view an order is not the same as logging in to the LMS.

If you would prefer course access to begin after the cancellation period, email us before ordering so we can arrange this with you.

How to cancel or request a refund

Email info@athenadigitalacademy.com with your name, order number, course title and the email address used for the purchase. Tell us whether you have logged in to the LMS or started the course. No particular cancellation form is required; a clear statement that you wish to cancel is enough.

For an eligible consumer cancellation, we will refund the amount due within 14 days of receiving your cancellation notice, using the original payment method unless we agree another method with you. We do not charge a cancellation administration fee.

Faulty courses, incorrect purchases and access problems

If a course is faulty, not as described, or you cannot access what you purchased, contact us with your order details and a description of the problem. We will investigate and provide the remedy you are entitled to. The active-course rule does not exclude or restrict your statutory rights.

If you bought the wrong course or placed a duplicate order, contact us as soon as possible and before logging in to the LMS or starting the course.

Business and bulk orders

The 14-day consumer cancellation right applies to consumer purchases. Business and bulk orders are governed by the written quotation or agreement and our Terms of Supply. Contact us before learners log in or start their courses if an order needs to be changed or cancelled.
